About us -- the story of LittleWhiteEbook.com.

LittleWhiteEbook is one of the top ebook publishing companies selling in the Amazon Kindle Marketplace. Since 2007, we have been publishing original works, originally starting with our bestselling Little White Ebook of Homeshoring Jobs, written by Melissa Brewer, the owner and founder of LittleWhiteEbook.com. We started out with only two ebooks, in .pdf format, in 2007 and have grown to over 1400 ebooks after infiltrating the Amazon Kindle ebook marketplace.
LittleWhiteEbook also has the distinct advantage of being able to set and keep our own prices low, because we don't have to make up for budget shortfalls in a print edition. That's why almost all of our ebooks fall into the $.99 to $2.99 range throughout the Amazon Kindle marketplace.
We publish the both the unexpected and the traditional - classic cookbook ebooks, intriguing back-to-basics how-to ebooks, and high-quality, sometimes "forgotten" literature classics.

Based in Washington, DC, we believe in freedom of speech as an inherent right, and the ability to publish that speech as a social responsibility. To that end, we have no problem publishing ideas that we don't necessarily believe in -- as long as they are not racist, sexist, or a vehicle for hate speech. We believe strongly that digital technology, especially when concerning the ebook revolution, is less about big versus small but more about giving voice to all ideas and writers -- big and small, famous and new. We are a fiercely independent ebook publishing company with our sights on making a difference, one ebook at a time, and one reader at a time.
As a digital-only publisher, our passion for reading goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility and awareness. Every book we don't sell simply remains unsold. Every book we sell, especially when it comes to literary classics and out-of-copyright books, saves both money and reams of paper that sacrified trees to come into circulation. Many publisher simply "destroy" or liquidate books when they don't have a bestseller. As ebook publishers, our work is spared that fate, and countless trees our saved by our virtual production line.
As an ebook-only publisher, we have a distinct advantage. We are green-certified because we make a very minimal use of paper, period. We'r not forced to destroy books that don't sell or find new ways to liquidate our over-runs. We recycle relentlessly because that's what environmentally aware citizens do -- treat our home with respect and care so that future guests of the earth can continue to enjoy it. We also have the beautiful advantage of less overhead, and a virtual office team, which allows us to work effectively and happily without adding to the pollution of a commute. We don't have to dress up to go to work, and our carbon footprint is smaller because of it. We hope to have other idealists and bibliophiles join our team and help us make a difference very soon.
